👗 What to Wear | Holiday Outfit Inspiration
One of the most exciting parts of our Holiday Mini Sessions is dressing up for the occasion! This year, we have three beautiful holiday sets, each with its own unique style.
Whether you prefer cozy Christmas outfits, classic holiday elegance, or something playful, here are a few tips to help you plan your family's wardrobe!
🎄 1. Cozy Christmas Living Room
Think warm, timeless and festive!
Our signature fireplace living room is perfect for classic family portraits and cozy holiday moments.
Suggested colours: Cream, ivory, beige, burgundy, forest green, camel and warm neutrals.
Outfit ideas: Cozy knit sweaters, sweater dresses, velvet dresses, cardigans, chinos or coordinated family outfits.
🍪 2. Red Christmas Kitchen
Let's get baking! Our interactive Christmas kitchen is all about laughter, playfulness and making sweet holiday memories.
Suggested colours: Cream, white, red, denim, soft beige and festive plaid.
Outfit ideas: Casual sweaters, simple dresses, jeans, overalls or classic Christmas outfits.
We'll have children's chef hats and aprons available to complete the look, so there's no need to bring your own!
✨ 3. Christmas in Paris
Time to dress up! Our sparkling Parisian street scene is the perfect opportunity to bring out your fanciest holiday outfits.
Suggested colours: Black, ivory, champagne, gold, burgundy and deep red.
Outfit ideas: Elegant dresses, velvet or tulle dresses, dress shirts, blazers, bow ties and dressy shoes.
Think timeless, chic and a little bit of holiday sparkle!
A Few Helpful Styling Tips
Coordinate rather than match. Choose 2–3 complementary colours for a cohesive family look.
Avoid large logos, graphics and neon colours, as these can distract from your portraits.
Textures photograph beautifully! Knits, velvet, lace and subtle patterns add warmth and dimension.
Choose comfortable outfits for little ones, so they can move, play and enjoy the experience.
Don't forget the shoes! Please bring clean indoor shoes that complement your outfits. Please do ensure your shoes/boots are dry and cleaned before getting on the set so that it can last for the entire November season. If they are not clean, please bring wipes to wipe down your shoes before getting on the set. Please be mindful of socks/shoes that you want to be photographed in.
One outfit is absolutely fine! There's no need to prepare three separate looks. A coordinated outfit in cream, burgundy, forest green or other classic holiday colours will photograph beautifully across all three sets.
Most importantly, choose something that makes your family feel comfortable, confident and ready for a little Christmas magic! 🎄

You may bring 1 change of outfit for your family if you prefer (Please do keep in mind that the session will be 20 mins).
